Folk Artist TIA Founding Member Scallyrags 247 Old River Road Mallorytown Ontario K0E 1R0 613 923 2088 Send email In 1990 I moved from Toronto to the Mallorytown countryside in Eastern Ontario. The fresh surroundings evoked a desire to create primitive, folksy and whimsical designs. Elements from nature, treasures and trinkets from salvage, new and second hand fabrics started filling my studio. Broken chair angels with tea stained dresses, raw edged quilt designs in old window frames and chimes from old silver are some of the ideas that burgeon from the gathering. My joy would be to entice those who relish and find pleasure in living with, as I do, the imperfect charms of the primitive. |
