Eric Deskin

He has a degree in Civil Engineering with work on advanced degrees in the United States. He has lived and worked in Canada, United States, Mexico and Russia. Eric has always had a great interest in woodworking since childhood. At twelve he built a working sailboat and iceboat. After many years in engineering he has returned to woodworking and has participated in shows in the United States and Canada. Eric turns open and closed bowls. His specialty segmented bowls. He has written computer programs for the design of segmented bowls. He also turns platters which his wife embellishes with designs in pyrography. He works with native hardwoods and exotic woods from around the world. |
