In order to maintain the highest standards, I select my material and processes for what they can best achieve and make all of my decisions accordingly. From conception to completion, I determine the appropriate design, backing, colour plan, textural requirements, dye methods, materials, hooking techniques and finishing. Although this craft is rooted in tradition, I strive to push the traditional boundaries to create unique pieces. |
