Woodcarver, - wood and vegetable TIA Member 1287 Alwington Street Brockville Ontario K6V 6A5 613 342-8707 Send email An awe of the diversity and beauty found in our natural world and a desire to create highly detailed and realistic creations of chosen subjects in their natural environment has inspired me to carve North American birds and game fish. The need to study the anatomy of each new subject, the environment that they live in, and the development of new skills and techniques to help capture the subject accurately, presents me with a continuous learning experience. Wood painted with acrylic and oil paint, and vegetable ivory (tagu nuts) are my materials and mediums of choice. |
